Traits of the End-Time Beast and his Empire

Traits of the Dragon (Serpent of Old, the-Adversary, counterfeit Father)

Was once called "Morning Star, son of the dawn" (Isa 14:12).
Has the appearance of a "great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on his heads" (Rev 12:3).
Is the "Serpent of Old" (Rev 12:9), the one who caused a 1/3 of the angels of to rebel (Rev 12:4).
Has led/leads all the world astray (Rev 12:9).
Has laid low the nations (Isa 14:12).
Will be enraged with "the woman" and will fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Yeshua Messiah (Rev 12:17).

Traits of the Beast (the Anti-Messiah, counterfeit Son)

Has seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads names of blasphemy (Rev 13:1). Wait! Hold on! I thought this is what the Dragon of Rev 12:3 looks like??? Could this be a counterfeit of the Father/Son manifestation of ? Sick and twisted.
Will be given power, a seat, and great authority (Rev 13:2) by the Dragon (the-Adversary/ha-Satawn) to speak great things (a strong delusion?) and to speak great blasphemies... and will continue for 42 months (Rev 13:5). Again, note the counterfeit of the Father/Son relationship. Strong delusion!?
Seems to arise (in the Latter Days) out of Alexander the Great's former empire (Dan 8:19-26) and will be a prince of the people who originally destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple (Dan 9:26), obviously the Romans... who also controlled much of the same territory as Alexander the Great, namely the Eastern Roman Empire.
Will be fierce of face and skilled in intrigues (Dan 8:23); will "hold himself to be great in his own heart" (Dan 8:25).
Will blaspheme Elohim, His name, His Tabernacle, and those who dwell in Heaven (Rev 13:6).
Will be given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them (Rev 13:7; Dan 8:24). Will behead many because of their testimony of Yeshua (Rev 20:4). Note: Muhammad and Islam's favorite style of execution was/is the beheading of infidels. In Islam, this is a rich-tradition. Did you know that Muhammad is believed to have beheaded 600 to 900 Jews himself during a single incident? See Muhammad and the Origins of Islam, p. 222-224.
All who are NOT written in the Book of Life will marvel at him (Rev 17:8).
All who dwell upon the earth will worship him (Rev 13:8).
Will be called "Destroyer of nations"; making desolate (Jer 4:7).
Will rule all kindred, tongues, and nations; causes the people of and the people of all the earth to be slain (Rev 11:7,13:7; Dan 8:24).
Will build an image of a man and require all to worship it (Dan 3:1-7; Rev 13:15-17).
Will break down the walls/protection of the people of Israel (2 Kings 25:9; 2 Chron 36:19; Ezra 5:12; Jer 39:8).
Will besiege Jerusalem until it falls captive (2 Kings 24:10-12, 25:1-4; Jer 39:1-2; 52:1-7).
Will cause 'the Woman' to flee to the wilderness of Edom and Moab (Jer 52:7; Matt 24:16-22; Dan 11:41; Rev 12:6,16-17).
Will fight against THE Prince of Princes (Dan 8:25).

Traits of the Second Beast (the False-Prophet, counterfeit Spirit/Ruakh)

Will have two horns like a lamb (Rev 13:11).
Will speak like a serpent/dragon (Rev 13:11).
Will have all the power of the first beast (Rev 13:12).
Will cause people to worship the first beast (Rev 13:12).
Will perform great wonders and cause fire to come down from heaven (Rev 13:14).
Will cause all to receive the Mark of the Beast on their right hands or forehead (Rev 13:16-18).

Traits of the Beast Empire and Alliances

Students of prophecy (including myself) have a tendency to confuse the identity of the Babylonian Empire and the Beast's Empire... largely because they seem almost united at one phase (Rev 17:7) because one is riding the other. However, the Beast alliance of ten horns hates Babylon and eventually strips her naked, eats her flesh, and burns her with fire... acting upon the very punitive will of (Rev 17:16-17). Turkey, Iran, Syria, and many other Middle Eastern countries have a deep-seated hatred for the West, especially the iconic immoral USA, UK, and the nation generally perceived as a USA/UK colony, i.e. the Israeli regime.
Iran, and to a lesser extent, Turkey are very likely the modern embodiment of "the Medes" (Isa 13:17-22; Jer 50:1-5, 51:11), and they appear to be at the crux or near the place where the Beast will arise... and the primary culprit to Babylon's demise. Note that Jer 51:27-28 indicates the kingdoms of "Ararat, Minni and Ashkenaz" and "all the countries" ruled by or allied with the Medes... are called to war with Babylon.
The Beast, his Prophet, and his Empire are all referred to as "Beast", causing a good deal of confusion when passages are taken out of context.
One of the heads will be healed from a deadly wound (Rev 13:3).
"Was, and is not, and yet is" (Rev 17:8).
The Islamic Ottoman Empire (fallen during WWI) made-up a significant chunk of the Eastern-branch of the Roman Empire.
The primary way many Arab nations currently maintain control is largely due to American money via oil revenues and sweetened military deals with American companies. When America is no more, what then for the Middle East? Something very similar to the Ottoman Empire may organically and spontaneously re-manifest in the Middle East when the current Establishment goes undergrown.
If Edom/Moab is largely Sunni-oriented, and the Beast and his empire is largely Shia, could this be partially why Edom/Moab allow "the Woman" to hide safely within their boarders... out of spite for the Shia power-grab? Certainly just speculation there.

Any further thoughts, insights, corrections, or criticism are welcome... and appreciated. Note that this is a work in progress. It may have some errors and inconsistencies... for like everyone, I see through the glass, dimly.

Walid Shoebat, Rico Cortes, Brad Scott, Bill Cloud, and Scot Dryer are probably the most notable in influencing my view on the identity of where the Beast Empire will arise or be revived. Not sure if any of them have combined both identity views... and I'm sure all of them would likely disagree with some aspect of what I've written and would of course disagree with each other.
