We identify our true beliefs by our actions. What sets us apart unto the Elohim (God) of the Scriptures? What is the one major sign of identification with Him and with His eternal Covenant? What was the eternal identifying mark of the Jewish Messiah and His Apostles and their followers?
So abhorrent was this “mark” of identification that the Roman Emperor Constantine, in 325CE at the creation of his Roman Catholic religion, literally made it a law punishable by death if anyone kept the sign of identification with Yahuweh, the Elohim of Israel. The Catholic priests, and hierarchy watched carefully to see who kept it and who did not. Why was this sign of identification with Yahuweh, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Exodus 3:15) so repugnant to this pagan sun-god worshipper, Constantine, and his followers?
Constantine created the “sign of the cross” for those in his new sun god religion--called by the Greeks, “Christianity”--and anyone not adhering to his religion was killed. The symbol of the followers of the Jewish Messiah was the menorah.
At the end of the fourth century the Roman Catholic hierarchy thought they had killed off all of the “heretics”. But by the 13th century, after much “Inquisition”, they related that the heretics still existed and had a copy of the Gospel of Matthew in Hebrew. These heretics of the church were easily identified by:
- Their faith in the death and resurrection of the Torah-guarding Jewish Messiah, Yahushua, Son of Yahuweh for their eternal salvation.
- Their guarding of the Torah (Teachings and instructions of Yahuweh in the Tenach—miscalled “Old Testament”). These followers of “The Way” or the followers of the “Nazarene”, which they called themselves, would not bow to the rule of Rome or of Greece over them. They adhered to the Jewish Messiah and the teachings of His Father—the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. (Acts 24:5, 15-16)
In the Inquisition, in different parts of the Catholic world, the non-Catholics were watched carefully, as were the Jews. If they were seen guarding the set-apart signs of identification with Yahuweh, they were brought before “inquisitors” of the Catholic Church, who tortured them to try to make the convert to Catholicism, and if they did not convert, they were killed.
The “Inquisition” in Spain lasted 300 years. Some of the Jews from Spain fled to what we know as Mexico, Central and South America.
When the church found where they had gone, 300 years of inquisition, torture, murder, and atrocities were brought to the “New World” in these areas also by Franciscan and Jesuit priests—even extending up into what is now the southwest United States. The “Inquisition” is still in effect, and the Inquisition Files have not closed. Today the inquisition continues under the control of the Jesuit Order of the Vatican, who still tracks down those who will not bow to Roman Catholic control to kill them. The guardian of the Inquisition Files—who guarded them all of his Church life—is now the present Pope.
What has caused such hatred, that continues today by the Jesuit- founded and controlled Illuminati/Masonic/CFR world rulers, whose god is openly proclaimed to be Lucifer, against these people who did no harm to anyone?
Lucifer’s hate still rages against Yahuweh and His set-apart teachings of the Kingdom of heaven. Protestantism, which did much good, did not remove the foundation of deception as to the Person of Yahushua, and the covenant of Yahuweh.
It was Lucifer in the Garden of Eden who persuaded Eve to eat of his tree, and forsake the tree of life, which is the Torah of Yahuweh.
I was a former Christian minister, and I proclaim: His Torah is life at its best, peace at its highest, and joy at its fullest!
Psalm 19:7-11: “The Torah of Yahuweh is perfect, restoring the soul; the witness of Yahuweh is trustworthy, making wise the simple; the orders of Yahuweh are straight, rejoicing the heart; the command of Yahuweh is clear, enlightening the eyes; the fear of Yahuweh is clean, standing forever. The right-rulings of Yahuweh are true—they are righteous altogether--more desirable than gold--than much fine gold--and sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. Also, your servant is warned by them, and in guarding them there is great reward.”
Psalm 119:160, 165, and 142: “The sum of Your Word is truth, and all Your righteous right-rulings are FOREVER. Great peace have those loving Your Torah, and for them there is no stumbling-block”. “Your Torah is truth”.
Only Lucifer (Lucifer is Satan disguised as an angel of light. Lucifer means: the illumined one, the shining one, the light-bearer), could hold so much hate for the Torah and for Yahuweh, who threw Him out of heaven and condemned him to the lake of fire forever. His great vengeance is against those who love Yahuweh (I AM the eternal, ever-existing One who breathes), and who love His Son, Yahushua (I AM Salvation).
There is no higher culture or lifestyle on earth than the guarding of the Scriptural Torah of Yahuweh and the peace of knowing salvation through Messiah Yahushua who died for His people and rose for our eternal life. This has nothing to do with Jewish traditions—this has to do with the pure, untainted Word of Yahuweh Himself. Judaism is a man-made religion that has put terrible bondage on Yahuweh’s people. Messiah fought it when He was on earth. The Word of Yahuweh leads to life, not bondage to man.
“Come unto Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, for I am meek and lowly of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light”. (Messiah’s words in Matthew 11:28-30)
It is the demands of Lucifer’s Greco/Roman culture which is slavery and bondage and is filled with heaviness and grief!
Yahushua’s Kingdom is coming—an earthly Kingdom for 1,000 years. Then the Father brings His City—the New Jerusalem—to earth and reigns over this earth forever and ever. (Revelation chapters 19-22)
Entrance into His Kingdom comes through entering His covenant, through the blood of Messiah.
The animal sacrifices were added AFTER His Torah was given at Mt. Sinai, because the people would not stop sinning. They had been steeped in the paganism of Egypt, and did not know this Elohim of their forefathers. Therefore, they kept choosing the ways of Egypt—adhering to the gods of Egypt—and breaking the Torah of Yahuweh.
I John 3:4: “Sin is the transgression of the Torah”.
Individual judgment will be based on obedience to known truth. The Hebrew understanding of faith is this: If you believe something, prove it by your works--“Faith without works is dead”—James 2:26.
Therefore we have this correct translation of John 3:36: ”He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him”.
John 14:15 & 15:14: “IF you love Me keep My commandments”. “You are My friends IF you keep My commandments”.
The commandments of the Son are the commandments of His Father. He did not come to start any new religion. Nor did the Apostles start any new religion—the Greeks did, and Rome institutionalized it. The Father did not start the religion of Rabbinical Judaism—Rabbi Akiva did in the third century (133 CE approximately).
Man starts religions and sets up rules for those in their religion. The Roman Church openly admits that their traditions over rule the Scriptures. Also, Rabbinical Judaism says that their traditions over rule the Scriptures.
Today the world’s religions of man are uniting with the Vatican for power and control…including the leaders of Judaism, and Christianity. The religion of Constantine now seeks to rule the world, as the Caesars once did. The openly spoken goal of the Jesuit Order is to put a pope on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to be worshipped as “God”.
“Behold the Lamb of Elohim Who takes away the sin of the world”, John proclaimed (John 1:29). He was the final sacrifice—fulfilling Exodus 12. He fulfilled the ceremonial laws of animal sacrifice that were added after the Torah was given because of sin. But, He did not end the good Torah of the Kingdom of heaven. The Hebrew Matthew tells us that He came to expand the Torah and write it on our hearts as per Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Matthew 5:17-19.
Once we receive Messiah as our Savior, we enter into a covenant with Yahuweh and His Kingdom. We become “citizens” of His Kingdom. Our part is to guard and keep His eternal laws that He gave to us through His servant Moses. The word “law”, used as a negative, was inserted into the Latin Vulgate by its Gnostic translator Jerome, along with other distorting words.
If you would substitute Torah for “law” in your Bible it will open your eyes to truth. He Torah is good. It is good to observe laws that give us peace, health and contentment. Also, if you will substitute the Name of the Father—Yahuweh—for “Lord”, used 6, 823 times in the Bible, you will also have your eyes opened.
John 5:46-47; 6:45: “For if you had believed Moses, you would have believed Me, since he wrote about Me. But, if you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe My words? It has been written in the prophets `And they shall all be taught by Yahuweh’. Everyone, then, who has heard from the Father and learned, comes to Me”.
In II Timothy 3:14-17, the Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) says to Timothy: “But you, stay in what you have learned and trusted, having known from whom you have learned and that from a babe you have known the Set-Apart Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Messiah Yahushua. All Scripture is breathed by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Elohim may be fitted, equipped, for every good work”. This is this Word of Elohim that the Roman Church has called “The Old Testament”—“The Law of the Jews”. Yet, according to the Word, the Tenach is for all mankind.
Ecclesiastes 3:14: “I know that what Elohim does is FOREVER. There is no adding to it, and there is no taking from it. Elohim does it that men should fear before Him”.
Yet since the Garden of Eden, man has followed the lies and deceptions of Lucifer that Yahuweh and His Torah were “bondage”—and to be avoided. The church substituted a cheap Greek Platonic philosophical “grace” that has led men into bondage to Satan through the lusts of their flesh. Messiah said His followers would be “few”: Matthew 7:14: “…the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed, which leads to life, and there are FEW WHO FIND IT”.
Matthew 19:16-17 is a passage not preached in churches: “And see, one came and said to Him, `Good teacher, what good shall I do to have everlasting life?’ Messiah answers: “…If you wish to enter into life, guard the commandments”. The man asks: “Which ones” and Messiah proceeds to name off some of the Ten Commandments.
Messiah was the living Torah—the Word made flesh—to guard the commandments of Yahuweh means to follow Him in obedience!
It is historical fact that the Greeks broke away from the teachings of the Apostles in the mid-first century, calling themselves after the worshippers of the Hellenistic/Egyptian god of Alexandria, Egypt—Serapis—“Christians”. By the second century the Emperor Hadrian reported that “Christians”, who got their name from the worshippers of Serapis, also called themselves “Gnostics”. Gnosticism today is basic New Age Luciferic teaching that Yahuweh is the evil one who restricted Eve, and Lucifer the good one who “illumined” Eve. This teaching is paramount thought among the rulers of the world government of today. In Albert Pike’s Masonic “Bible” he clearly states: “Our god is Lucifer”. He clearly says that Yahuweh is the evil “God”.
The persecution of the true followers of Messiah continues to this day.
To answer my original question: The ONE SIGN that the enemy looks for that identifies the follower of Yahuweh, along with not eating of pork and the guarding of the seven festival days of Yahuweh rather than the holidays of pagan Rome, is SHABBAT, or “Sabbath”. This day, as all of Yahuweh’s days, begins at sunset—sunset Friday--and continues until Saturday at sunset.
“Shabbat” in Hebrew means: “An intermission, rest, cessation of work, to sit still”.
The inquisitors of the Roman church looked carefully to see who was not working on “Saturday”--the day of the god Saturn. This is the one supreme sign of belonging to the Elohim of the Scriptures, and the Devil and his agents know it.
The followers of the sun god religion of Greece, Rome and Persia worship on “Sun-day”. The Muslims worship on the day of “Dagon”—god of the Philistines—Friday. Other religions have their days of worship and their rules of appeasing their gods.
Once again, we see the contest of Mt. Carmel mounting to the foreground today. Elijah called all the prophets of Ba’al to Mt. Carmel in I Kings 18, and gave them two choices. I Kings 18:19-21: Elijah tells Ahab, the King of the ten northern tribes of Israel: “`And now, send and gather all Israel to me on Mount Carmel, the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal (the Lord), and the four hundred prophets of Asheroth’ (The “Queen of Heaven”—also called Ishtar or Easter)…And Elijah came to all the people and said, `How long will you keep hopping between two opinions? If Yahuweh is Elohim follow Him, if Baal, follow him’”. (Italics mine)
These choices are today’s choices. Who will you identify with? You have really ONLY two choices: 1) The Elohim of Israel, Yahuweh, or 2) Ba’al—the sun god—whom the Greeks worshipped as Zeus and the Roman Emperor Constantine worshipped as Mithra—re-naming him the name of the god of the Greeks—Iesous (transliterated into English as “Jesus”). The Name of our Savior is a Hebrew Name with a meaning that identifies Him with His Father—“Yah”—I AM.
There is a third alternative, which you don’t want to be a part of—Revelation 3:15-16 – one who straddles the fence and does not side now—these will be vomited out of Messiah’s mouth at His coming.
The “Replacement Theology” of most of the Christian Church came from this separation of Yahuweh and His Son—separating the Son and making Him identify with the sun gods of paganism back to Nimrod and Babylon after the flood. Yahuweh and Yahushua were replaced by Greco/Roman paganism, which the English call “Church”.
Constantine, in creating his Roman Catholic Church, a religion of his own creation for the sole purpose of uniting his empire, created it around the popular Persian god of the day—Mithra.
Here’s where we get “Sun-day” worship of “the lord”: Constantine made is a law in the 4th century that all worship “Iesous” or “Yesu” on the “venerable day of the sun”—the day of the god he worshipped, Sol Invictus--the day of Ba’al (Ba’al means “lord” or “master”)—Sun-day.
He made it mandatory, punishable by death, that all go to “church” on this day. Banks, schools, and all public buildings were closed in honor of Ba’al—the original sun god of Nimrod—from Babylon. He made it mandatory, punishable by death, that all keep the pagan festival of the fertility goddess Astarte, Ashteroth, Diana, or “Easter”. He made it mandatory, punishable by death, to honor the birthday of Ba’al—under the name of Tammuz, the son of Nimrod—whose birthday was December 25th.
Tammuz, son of Nimrod, was supposedly gored to death by a wild boar, which he killed before he died. Tammuz was supposedly 40 years old when he was killed. He supposedly miraculously rose from the dead on the Sunday of Ishtar (Easter) to the praises: “He is risen--he is risen from the dead”. Forty days before this “resurrection” it was designated a time of mourning and self-denial for Tammuz (See Ezekiel 8:14). This became known as “Lent” in the Catholic Church. Then, in honor of his resurrection, all ate ham on the feast of Ishtar (Easter). Did you ever wonder why the traditional meat at Easter was ham? Now you know.
Therefore, anyone continuing to guard the Shabbat, not eating pork and guarding the festivals of Yahuweh were considered under the death penalty.
Constantine fashioned a sword in the shape of the symbol of his new religion—the “crux”—cross—and proceeded under that “sign” to conquer the world and kill all who opposed him—both Jew and believer in Messiah who guarded the Torah of Yahuweh.
“Church” is an English word. It is taken from “kirke” –a German word that comes from the goddess Circe—the daughter of Helios, the sun god. She was infamous for turning men into pigs.
Thus, from the mid-first century, the enemies of Yahuweh and His Messiah, and His Word, proceeded to create a counterfeit religion—a religion that would separate Yahuweh and His Messiah, substituting another “messiah” of pagan origin in the place of the true Jewish Messiah--thus the warning of the Apostle Sha’ul in Galatians 1.
Sha’ul and the other Apostles fought this Gnostic Christianity in their day, as well as the traditions of Jews who tried to make people adhere to their laws for salvation.
Today, we have Psalm 2 in full operation—the world is seeking to destroy Yahuweh and His Messiah and His Word (Messiah is the Word of Yahuweh in flesh) from planet earth. His Torah is considered “bands” and “ropes” to the “lawless”. Yet, His teachings for our health, life and peace are the “light yoke” that Messiah says He gives us.
I John 5:2-3: “By this we know that we love he children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His commands. For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands, and His commands are NOT HEAVY”.
Today, in the laws of America’s Homeland Security’s “FEMA”, the use of the Name “Yahuweh” is illegal. They connect it to those who are potential “harmers” of the government, potential “cultists” and “terrorists”, those who also believe in the coming of the Jewish Messiah. This gives new meaning to Matthew 10:22: “And you shall be hated by ALL for My Name’s sake…”
Therefore, we need to look for a moment at this set-apart sign of Yahuweh—which is the identification with Him—the Shabbat or weekly Sabbath. The word also stands for the “seventh day” and is a picture each week of the 7th day – or the 7,000th millennium reign of Messiah on the earth. Every seven days you rehearse for the Kingdom.
It is the day that He meets with His Bride more than any other day, to speak to her heart, to give her His mind and His plans, and to cause her to rest in Him from all the burdens, problems and turmoil of the week. On this day, He asks two simple things:
- That we do not work, as usual—we do not create. He ceased from creation on the seventh day, and so we cease from doing our own things, and enter into His focus.
- We do not buy or sell—thus making others work for us.
This is the day that we meet with the Bridegroom. It is the day that He teaches us about His Kingdom on earth, and we learn about our part in it. It is the day we receive “revelation knowledge” from His heart to our spirit. It is the day that we connect with His plans and purposes, and learn our part in them. It is the day that He spends with us, preparing us for the times to come.
It is the day that we enter into a more personal relationship with Him, because we are identifying with Him in obedience to His covenant. It is the day that we join with the whole house of Jacob in honoring the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--our forefathers.
He will reign over all the earth from the hill of Zion in Jerusalem. His set-apart ones who guard His covenant will rule with Him. In Revelation 22:14, we see that those who guard His commandments to do them have right to the tree of life and the right to enter the gates of the New Jerusalem, forever.
How long will we celebrate the Shabbat, and go by the new moons for the timing of His seven festivals (Leviticus 23) that all represent Messiah and His salvation?
Isaiah 66:22-23: “`For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make stand before Me’, declares Yahuweh, `so your seed and your name shall stand. (He is speaking to the Levite priests of the Zadok priesthood – Ezekiel 44:15-24) And it shall be from New Moon to New Moon, and from Shabbat to Shabbat, all flesh shall come to worship before Me’, declares Yahuweh”.

How burdensome is it to rest and relax every seventh day? The rat-wheel lifestyle of Lucifer is what is burdensome bondage. How burdensome to spend time off the phone, with the world turned off and all its satanic mind-programming, to spend time with Him in His Word, letting Him teach you and instruct you in the way you should go—personally? How must bondage is it to interact on an intimate level with the Creator of the universe?
Come on folks! -- We’ve been lied to by Satan himself and his religious system cronies. He wants to program you for the lake of fire. The last thing he wants is for you to get to know his arch-enemy. Shove the demands of culture and society that is not of the Father where they belongs—and rest of His day with peace in your home!
If we identify with Yahuweh and His people, yes, the world will hate us. Yes, we will be persecuted. But, this is our calling—for “…it is through much tribulation that we must enter the Kingdom of Yahuweh” (Acts 14:22)
II Timothy 3:12: “And indeed, all those wishing to live set-apart lives in Messiah Yahushua, shall be persecuted”.
Philippians 1:29: “Because to you it has been given as a favor, on behalf of Messiah, not only to believe in Him but also to suffer for His sake”. (Read I Peter chapters 4 and 5)
Yes, your family, your friends, your associates, the religious, the sinners—all will judge you and persecute you for your identification with Yahuweh and Yahushua. But, Luke 14:25-33 tells us that IF we want to follow Yahushua we must count the cost and forsake all that is appealing to the soulish flesh nature. Yes, you will be called names and put at arm’s length by those who identify with the world system and its god. But, eternity is near, my friends, and I plead with you to make the right choice. You don’t need those choosing Baal to stop you from following the Lamb wherever He goes. Messiah walked out the Torah for us as an example of our walk with Him.
From these passages from His eternal Word, and the example of Messiah and His followers, we have two clear choices—either we identify with Yahuweh’s sign, or we identify with the sign (mark) of the beast system of the Roman Empire—and the soon-coming anti-messiah out of Rome.
Joshua 24:15: Joshua says: “And if it seems evil to you to serve Yahuweh, choose you this day whom you will serve—whether the gods your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: But as for me and my house, we will serve Yahuweh”.
Out of fear of Yahuweh, but also out of sanity and kindness to myself for eternity, I choose to serve Yahuweh and Yahushua!
Here are His simple instructions:
Exodus 31:12-17: “And Yahuweh spoke to Moses saying: `And you, speak to the children of Israel saying, `MY SABBATHS YOU ARE TO GUARD, BY ALL MEANS, FOR IT IS A SIGN BETWEEN ME AND YOU THROUGHOUT YOUR GENERATIONS, TO KNOW THAT I, YAHUWEH, AM SETTING YOU APART. And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among the people. Six days work is done, and on the seventh is a Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout your generations AS AN EVERLASTING COVENANT BETWEEN ME AND THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL IT IS A SIGN FOREVER. For in six days Yahuweh made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed…”
Today, we see that there is no physical death administered by His priests, meted out for not guarding Shabbat. We are in a “choice season”. It is “whosoever will”. Yet, Matthew 7:20-23 tells us the end of it. In the judgment, those who are “lawless”, even though they minister in supposedly His Name, yet not His name, are not allowed to enter His Kingdom.
In Ephesians 2:8-19, we see that we are no longer “gentiles” (barbarians, heathen, pagans, aliens, strangers and foreigners) when we are “in Messiah”, but we are “in” the covenants and promises of Israel—grafted into His tree. (Romans 110)
The Day of Judgment is against all “lawlessness”. The anti-messiah is called “the lawless one”. “Lawlessness” is lawlessness against the Torah of Yahuweh—“Sin”. Those “loving truth” will be led by His Spirit into “ALL TRUTH”--John 16:13 and Romans 8:28. II Thessalonians 29-12 tells us that those who do not love the truth will be counted with the wicked.
Our job is to seek Him and obey Him with all our heart, mind and soul—study and obey His Word and love Him with everything in us. He will lead us into all truth by the Spirit of Yahuweh. Our job is to introduce as many as He leads us to, to the true Jewish Messiah and our covenant with Yahuweh. Our job is to be in the center of His will for us.
We have been lied to, deceived, and taught falsehood by men who are also deceived. Many are angry about this. We must repent of being a part of paganism, and then go forward to do His will.
Now His Spirit is revealing our roots that were lost to us from the second century when Rome stopped the teaching of Torah for both Jews and Torah-keeping believers in Messiah.
A remnant survived through the last 1900 years, a remnant that today has returned to the teachings of Messiah and the Apostles—who guards His Torah and the witness of Messiah Yahushua.
He has prepared a remnant today who will guard His teachings:
Revelation 12:17: “And the dragon (Satan) was enraged with the woman (Israel) and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed—those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Messiah Yahushua.”
Revelation 14:12: “Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahushua”.
Revelation 22:14: “Blessed are those DOING His commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates of the City”.
A small remnant will be alive and remain—these are those who do “exploits” because “they know their Elohim”—Daniel 11:32.
These guard His commands and the belief in Messiah Yahushua. These are the ones who have returned to the pure teachings of the Messiah and His Apostles.
In many third world countries, the ones whose faith is in the Savior of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and who know little else, are being martyred for their faith. I’ve worked with the persecuted believers of China. There are pure of heart, childlike, and willing to die for Him. These ones who stand strong in their belief in the Savior are given great grace and mercy from the Father—for He knows Who they have put their trust in. These will rule and reign with Him (Revelation 20:6). He views the heart. Our judgment is based on our knowledge and how we live up to what He has given us. (Luke 12:47-48) “To whom much is given, much will be required”.
Those of us given Truth in this last hour must live up to it. If we do not take His mark of identification and obey His set-apart commands, we will easily take “the mark of the beast”—the mark of the anti-messiah—the one who will fool the world into thinking he is the real messiah. (Revelation 13) Even the “elect” can be deceived, Messiah said. We must spend our time now getting to know the real Messiah, so that the counterfeit will be very apparent.
Exodus 20:8-11: THERE ARE TEN COMMANDMENTS—NOT NINE!
“Remember the Sabbath day to set it apart. Six days you labor and shall do all your work, but the seventh day is a SABBATH OF YAHUWEH, your Elohim. You do not do any work—you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, (nor the workers at a restaurant, nor the grocery store clerk, etc.) nor your cattle, nor the stranger who is within your gates. For in six days Yahuweh made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them and rested the seventh day. Therefore Yahuweh blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart”. (Italics mine)
I Peter 1:16: “Be set-apart as Yahuweh is set apart”.
Leviticus 19:1: “And Yahuweh spoke to Moses saying, `Speak to all the congregation of Israel, and say to them, “Be set apart, for I, Yahuweh, your Elohim, am set-apart’”.
We are commanded to come out of the midst of those who are lawless, lovers of the world, and antagonistic to the good Torah of Yahuweh, and set ourselves obviously apart from the system He will destroy in His wrath. If you want to be saved from His wrath, then obey His commandments. His wrath comes on the “children of disobedience” – Ephesians 5:6 and Colossians 3.
Ezekiel 20:19-25: “I am Yahuweh your Elohim. Walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings, and do them. And set apart My Sabbaths, and they shall be A SIGN BETWEEN ME AND YOU to know that I am Yahuweh your Elohim. But, the children rebelled against Me. They did not walk in My laws, and My right-rulings—they did not guard to do them, which, if a man does, he shall live by them. They profaned My Sabbaths, so I resolved to put out My wrath on them to complete My displeasure against them in the wilderness…Also, I Myself lifted My hand in an oath to those in the wilderness to scatter them AMONG the gentiles and disperse them throughout the lands, BECAUSE they had not done My right-rulings and they rejected My laws and they profaned My Sabbaths and their eyes were on their father’s idols. And I also gave them up to laws that were not good, and right rulings by which they would not live”.
The greatest and final punishment that Yahuweh ever gave His people was to disperse them out of the Land of Israel. Now, He is calling a remnant home!
One final Scripture out of several hundred verses on Shabbat:
Isaiah 58:13: from The Scriptures translation from the Hebrew: “If you turn back your foot from (trampling) the Shabbat, from doing your pleasure on My set-apart day, and shall call the Shabbat `a delight’, the set-apart day of Yahuweh `esteemed’ and shall esteem it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, THEN you shall delight yourself in Yahuweh. And I shall cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Jacob your father. For the mouth of Yahuweh has spoken it!’”

For further study, I recommend that you get alone with the Spirit of Yahuweh and go through every passage and verse in the Bible on Shabbat. If you have a complete Concordance of the Bible, simply go through every Scripture on the word Sabbath. I recommend that you read Leviticus 23 and see that the festivals are the festivals of Yahuweh, and not Moses’ creation.
