Shalom Shiloh2020,
I agree with many of your thoughts, but I think we may differ currently on the distinctions between the House of Joseph and Ephraim. The prophetic/figurative references to them both seems interchangeable the majority of the time. And one could probably surmise that every tribe and people have had a ruling/elite class that didn't necessarily represent the common people of the same tribe and people, so it is difficult for me to divide Joseph and Ephraim on that basis.
It is interesting that Ephraim's name is replaced with Joseph's name in the book of Revelation, but the actual cause I'm not yet sure of... or haven't been convinced of yet. The vast majority of the House of Joseph is Ephraim's literal seed. Indeed, the vast majority of all 10-Israel is made full with Ephraim's descendants, but the other individual tribes will still ultimately be given distinctive names, although I think their respective populations are much smaller in size currently. The other tribes are basically drowning in an ocean of Ephraim (in my view). In the end, a remnant will only persist of any of us... and all will be humbled... then comforted... and restored.
One could say that since the head of Ephraim is largely the impetus of Mystery Babylon (America and Europa) and the one world government system that is and will unite itself against Yah. So... maybe indeed that is the reason Ephraim's name is diminished in the end... which would kinda confirm your thoughts. I'm not sure. I'll keep chewing on it with you, brother.
