Recently, as I was discussing how "the world is coming unglued at the seams", a friend commented, "Not much new. The world has been coming unglued for most of history." I do not think of this person as a scoffer nor do I think scoffing was his intent per se, but I later remembered the following passage:
2 Peter 3:3-5
(3) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
(4) And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
(5) For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Things that are New in the World
The things listed below are very much NEW to the last century or last few decades and are diametrically different than previous centuries and millennia. One could also suggest that many of these things were necessary for world governance and world control by the Beast (anti-messiah) system of the Last Days.
