Are Radiometric Dating Methods Reliable?

There are many resources which discuss the poor reliability of Radiometric Dating, including Radiocarbon Dating (a few are listed below). The credibility of radiometric dating will be frequently diminished within the content of this site since it is one of the greatest obstacles to Israelite Haplogroup (DNA) Hypotheses and it is an overarching difficulty for anyone wanting to use DNA to any degree to identify Joseph (the Ten Tribes of Israel) and Judah (the Jews) around the world today.

It is astounding how many scientific fields fundamentally rely on the accuracy of various radio-metric dating methods. The scientific field most important to research on the Lost Tribes of Israel is Anthropology and it is immeasurably influenced by such dating methods.

Anthropology is a super-field sub-divided by four major sciences: Biological/Physical Anthropology, Social-cultural Anthropology, Linguistic Anthropology, and Archeology.

Population Genetics, a relatively new sub-field of Physical Anthropology, will influence (both positively and negatively) the knowledge we have of descendant peoples/nations of the tribes of Israel, particularly the House of Joseph (Genesis 48:19).

The field of Population Genetics is rightfully and tremendously influenced by the field of Archeology. But unfortunately, Archeology itself is enormously influenced by Evolutionists and their tool bag of Radiometric Dating (Carbon-14 Dating is especially influential where Y-chromosome haplogroups are concerned).

Population Geneticists speak in terms of “many thousands of years” when assigning the ancient origins of y-DNA and mt-DNA Haplogroups and the placement of those respective groups on human migration maps (Example).

Below is the "Official" word for the origin of a few Haplogroup examples (Note: Radio-metric Dating is assigned a critical variable in the date estimation equation).

y-Haplogroup Origin Estimation
A 55,000 yrs. ago
E 50,000 yrs. ago
K 40,000 yrs. ago
R 30,000 to 35,000 yrs. ago
Q 15,000 to 20,000 yrs. ago

mt-Haplogroup Origin Estimation
L1 150,000 to 170,000 yrs. ago
M 60,000 to 80,000 yrs. ago
N 60,000 to 80,000 yrs. ago

Date estimations found within Israelite Haplogroup (DNA) Hypotheses are almost entirely founded on current placement density of various genetic haplogroups, historical migration and settlement records, and clear prophetic insights from the Hebrew Scriptures. Radiometric dating is unreliable principally because of the numerous and fundamental false assumptions on which the dating methods are based. They shouldn't be trusted in the sphere of any science or in the field of Population Genetics especially, thus the "official" date estimates delivered from the mouth pieces of the Secular Establishment (the Priests of Evolution) should be scrutinized carefully.
