Speaking to the Jews of the "House of Judah", in the following verse Yeshua makes a pointed reference to the scattered Ten Tribes of Israel and the Ezekiel 37 prophecy of both "sticks" being united by the Son of David in the Last Days:
John 10:16 "I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd."
The above reference should also be digested with Yeshua's following statements:
Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
Mark 10:5-6 These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: "Do not go in the way of the gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; (6) but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
John 11:49-52 (TS98) reads:
(49) And one of them, Qayapha, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know naught,
(50) neither do you consider that it is better for us that one man die for the people than that the entire nation should perish.”
(51) But he did not say this from himself, but being high priest that year he prophesied that יהושע was about to die for the nation,
(52) and not for the nation only, but to gather together into one the children of Elohim who were scattered abroad.
Verse 52 plainly indicates that the Jewish Nation of the 1st Century CE(AD) wasn't representative of all 12 tribes of Israel, just as much other evidence confirms. Where it references "to gather together into one" is a mysterious reference to the Two Stick prophecy of Ezekiel 37.
The Parable of the Prodigal Son is one of the best examples of the Two House Reality revealed in the NT. Luke 15:11-32: (KJV) reads:
(11) And he said, A certain man had two sons:
(12) And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
(13) And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
(14) And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
(15) And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
(16) And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
(17) And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
(18) I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
(19) And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
(20) And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
(21) And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
(22) But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe [note: Joseph's Coat of Many Colors], and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
(23) And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
(24) For this my son was dead, and is alive again [note: Ezekiel 37:1-14 the valley of dry bones]; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
(25) Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.
(26) And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
(27) And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
(28) And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
(29) And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
(30) But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
(31) And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
(32) It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
Yeshua refers to scattered Israel by referencing Zechariah 2:6 and Deuteronomy 30:4 when he says this in Mark 13:27: "And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven."
When Yeshua told His disciples that He would make them "fishers of men" (Matthew 4:19), He was making a semi-veiled reference to "fishermen" sent to fish for scattered 10-Israel spoken of by the Prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 16:14-16) to recover those which were thrown to the sea and will come from isles afar off (Isaiah 11:11; Isaiah 42:4; Isaiah 42:10; Isaiah 42:12; Isaiah 49:1; Isaiah 51:5; Isaiah 60:9; Isaiah 66:19).
More NT examples will be added soon. As Eddie Chumney would say, the Ten Tribes and/or Two Houses "are EVERYWHERE" in the New Testament, you just have to know what you're looking for in conjunction with how the so-called OT (Old Testament) describes them.
