Did the disciples think of Yeshua (Jesus) as יהוה (YHVH) Elohim?

Thomas apparently thought so upon seeing Yeshua after His resurrection:

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Master and my Elohim!”1 Footnote: 1See Hebrews 1:8-9.

John, writing after Yeshua's resurrection also thought so:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.

God (English) = Elohim (Hebrew) = Theos (Greek), but there is only One Elohim which is above all other Elohim (Psalm 82:6). He is יהוה Elohim and there is none higher than He. Even though we are called "Elohim" and "sons of the Most High" (Psalm 82:6), we are not higher than He, the All Eternal One, and we aren't higher than Yeshua, the Anointed King of Israel, who is יהוה, the All Eternal One, Who will rule Israel from His throne forever (Hebrews 1:8-9).
