Comment: When Israel became a nation

Print
Could Israel truly have become a nation without Jerusalem? This occurred in 1967. If you add 49 years to that date, it is 2016. David Flynn and others believe the two Witnesses may appear this year, which would also confirm the Lord's return as 2016.

The Hebrew Shmittah year overlaps both 2016 and 2017... but I'm fairly certain IF that is the general time-frame of Yeshua's return, it would more than likely occur at the end of that Shmittah year at Yom Teruah.... so to answer your question... 2017, BUT... He could also come at the end of the following Shmittah year (2024) or the next (2031) or the next (2038)... and there is the possibility that we have something incorrect in the way the Shmittah years are currently attributed. This isn't a "thus sayeth YHWH" article.

Be hopeful and watchful... but don't be discouraged if we push past 2017 and nothing has happened yet. =)
