Comment: the way to Zion - Timeline of the Last Days - Daniel's 3Layer Shavua Prophecy

Print
I find it interesting that these people would be asking the way to 'Zion'. If metaphysically or metaphorically, symbolically it might be that they want to know of the 'moedim' of Yahweh and what that is, how these feast days relate to Messiah. But since it is after the fall then it may be that their sense of direction is screwed up somehow. Let's figure that with all satellite communication gone (stars falling from heaven maybe) and the earth having been altered in it's axial spin, throwing off the star charts manually, we not even know if the sun is rising in the same 'east' that it has done for millenium now and up to today. Maybe, literally, they are asking the way to zion because they just don't have a roadmap and physically are looking for the place. If this is the case then the condition of the earth and all its inhabitants is either in a huge state of shock or we are officially back in the stone age or both.

Comment: Why do so many believe in the pre-trib Rapture?

I have never seen evidence in the bible for the pre-trip rapture... anywhere. Even Paul clearly states in Thessalonians that the dead in Christ will be raised first and then we who are alive will join them "at the LAST trump."

It's fairly obvious, since he wrote that in his epistle before John was given the visions of Revelation on Patmos - that he (Paul) was inspired by God on how it would come to pass so that Christians would know and not be in the dark. So we won't see anything like a catching away until the final Trumpet is blown (that being the 7th Trumpet) and most eschatology students realize that this happens at the return of Christ, for right after that the wrath of God (bowl judgements) are released on the Earth and here too Paul tells us that we (Christians, faithful and true) are not given over to the wrath of God. So, from the angle I come at this it seems, fairly obviously atleast in this aspect, that what many call the rapture will not happen until the very end at the return of Christ.

Then, on that day, at that very hour we will be caught up with Him in the clouds and suddenly he will fall back down to the mount of olives like a bolt of lightning, splitting the mount in half... and to those left on the Earth, well, the wrath of God will come upon them...

So pre-trib rapture? Hey, if you want to believe it, feel free - however, keep in mind that it will possibly not happen so look at a pre-trib rapture this way: Hope for the best, but prepare (as we are commanded) for the worst.
