Comment: The Rapture

Print
I'm a little bummed. I always thought the rapture would occur prior to the tribulation. But I guess if this timeline is the real deal, then that would make the rapture occurring impossible because of the 3.5 years right? I never thought God would make His people (the born again believers) go through the tribulation period. I kind of still hold to the pre-trib rapture though.

Response: The Rapture Will Occur

Personally, I believe the rapture will occur at the time of Messiah's arrival, but it is a widely debated and controversial topic, especially within Christianity where there is little to no understanding in regards to who represents 10-Israel today in the nations. The emotional attachment to the pre-trib rapture is very hard to let go of, but יהוה has made promises to hide those who are His during the time of trial. I list a lot of verses regarding this here... which should bring comfort to those who are fearful of what is coming.

I recommend people consider Dr Gavin Finley's article on The Flight to Bozrah and the Bozrah Exile.

Tim McHyde's book "Know the Future" goes into the rapture topic in great detail in a way that I find palatable.

Shalom,

Comment: Rapture or catching away?

We believe that Revelation 11:11 speaks about the catching away of the two witnesses which could be believers in Judah and Ephraim or at least include them because every eye shall see them as written in Thess. Yah confirmed this in Isaiah 11:11. It wouldn't seem plausible that there would be another "rapture" at the end.

The Restrainer is Michael the Archangel. Have a look in Daniel!

The order of events is clear if you read 1 Thess carefully.
AT Yeshua's Coming - FIRST the dead in Him will be raised. THEN we who are alive and remain until the coming of Yeshua will be gathered up with them to meet Yeshua in the air.....

Ref Matt 24 also....Yeshua clearly says AFTER the tribulation of those days.....

Just ask the Holy Spirit to show you the Truth and He will:).

Bro., you have got it totally wrong as I had for nearly 50 years. The restrainer is not the Ruach Hakodesh because there will be many repenting sinners who turn to Yahweh during the tribulation. And repentance can only happen through the Ruach Hakodesh (Spirit). The restrainer is Michael, the archangel.
If the Torah does not reveal a rapture, as christianity portrays it, then there is no such occurence.
The Torah is Yahweh's own living spiritual WORDS that Moshe had to write down. Yahweh does not change, neither does His Torah. Yahweh the Father prepared a body for Himself and He manifested Himself in the body of Yahushua ha Massiach who was the LIVING TORAH.
Go back to the Torah if you would like to have clarity on the so called "rapture".
I personally know that the Potter, our Father Yahweh is going to protect His Yisraelite children through the tribulation, whether by martyrdom or by any other means. Yahshua called on His disciples to be willing to lay their lives down for Him and the Good News - are you not willing to do that? Do you want to be whisked away on a glory train, missing the opportunity to show your love and gratitude by may be having to lay down your life for the Master YAHUWEH Yahshua?!
The tribulation will be used by our Abba to cleanse us, to purify us, to make us ready for the Feast of Succot, the Wedding Feast, where we as the bride will be betrothed to the heavenly Bridegroom.
In any case the tribulation will also be a time for Abba Yahweh to realize the Stick of Ephraim - to bring together the 10 "lost" tribes of Yisrael with the other house of Yudah. That he promised will be a greater miracle than the exodus out of Egypt and people will refer to the latter miracle rather than to the previous exodus with Moshe as their leader and prophet.
Baruch haShem Yahweh Yahshua our King for everlasting eternity
