Hi...The encyclopedia Judaica states that the Name was pronounced as 'Yahweh' and that this pronunciation was extant the 2nd century CE. The 'rabbis' today seem to think it noble to hide the Name but then the 'catholic' bishops kept scripture to themselves and wouldn't let ordinary people read it. If we take the Name as Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh and insert a Shin in the middle we have Yod-Heh-Shin-Vav-Heh. The pronunciation of this name is Yahushua and the symbolic definition is "the salvation of Yah". I agree with Hanok in that it is the Person you are calling on. Over the years I have been called several good names. My birth name is Joseph but my friends sometimes call me Joe. Some call me Joey and in California I had to take up the name of Joel because there were too many Josephs and Joes in our group there. Hanok has the very good idea that it is the Person and I go along with that. Our Messiah knows you and He loves you. He is a Being and not computer. You can make a mistake and live to tell about it. (that's a joke, you know)
