I was curious about my family so I had my DNA done by Family Tree. I am R1b1b2 and I traced my family to Carlow Co. Ireland.
My mother is Scottish and is in HG I. I have no way to get DNA from the male side of my mothers family.
I know they nicknamed HG I, Iris. Can you tell me anything about the probabilities that I am part of the Tribe of Dan? I have read that they settled in Ireland.
Also, Family Tree said I am traceable to "Neill of the Nine Hostages." Some Irish King. Do you know anything about this mans heritage?
