Why all the recent Taliban / Lost Tribes of Israel propaganda?
Within the last couple weeks, there has been a reporting frenzy on the possible connection between the Pashtun people (of Afghanistan and Pakistan) and the Lost Tribes of Israel.

There has also been some suspicious eye-brows raised amongst Muslims.
I too find the timing of the release of this news a bit suspicious. I don't think it is necessarily a "Jewish Conspiracy", but at a time when the United States is becoming more public about a change in approach to dealing with the Taliban (largely made up of Pashtun fighters)... potential paradigm shifting news like this is released... where the most anti-Zionist group in the world is thrown a 'self-identity' curve-ball where they also become the most 'self-hating' group in the world. Now that is irony. Makes for interesting news, right?
The heart of the militant fever within the Taliban is unlikely to be truly quenched by this news (being 'possibly' descended of 10-Israel), but the resolve and memory of the ones who instigated the 9/11 attacks within the minds of Americans... that in fact may be a bit quenched... or at least further softened... or at best confused.
Eight years ago, the thought of diplomatic relations with some contingent of the Taliban was unthinkable to the American public. But now... the USA and many other nations are rethinking their approach... and the recent 10-Israel news only helps, right? Possibly?
So... is all this Afridi Pashtun/10-Israel media attention a ploy by the Media controllers... or is it just a coincidence?
Indeed, the best conspiracies are difficult to prove (e.g., Chamberlain's difficulty in proving Hitler's conspiracy to take over Europe). Yet, sometimes proof is invisible, like the wind, but one eventually sees and feels the effects. The desired effects in this instance would be an end to the financial blood-letting, an exit strategy for the US/NATO war effort, and a congenial Taliban (working with the propped up authorities in Kabul to protect the pipelines running from Afghanistan to the Caspian).
Personally, I do believe the Pashtun people are genetically linked to 10-Israel, largely because of their ancient connection with Saka-Scythic peoples. See my article: Israelite and Noahic Haplogroup Hypotheses. But I do question the basis on which the connection will be made... the details of which are largely unknown to the general public so far.
One well-known study did find that the Pashtun male population is about 44.8% of Y-Haplogroup R1a1, meaning they share a somewhat-recent common ancestor with much of the European male population (which has high frequencies of Y-Haplogroup R1b) which also has Saka-Scythic connections, but such is not a conclusion the Establishment is willing to make and such is unlikely the basis for what Shahnaz Ali and Karl Skorecki are trying to prove.
Maybe in a few months we'll know more... but I'm fairly certain it is going to be yet another case of: "can't see the forest for the trees" and the world will remain oblivious to how 'complete' the prophecy of Genesis 48:19 has been 'fulfilled'.
