VIDEO: Israeli Innovation
The thing that caught my attention the most in this video... is the reality that: cultural acceptance to question and freedom-of-dissent was/is a major driving factor in Israeli innovation. In the past, I remember hearing that Israeli corporate environments were less sensitive to what most Western-societies consider insubordinate behavior. Of course, we're talking more about non-factious or non-mutinous insubordination here. Personally, I perceive this as "unity of dissent" or "unity permitting dissent". Of course, these realities play out in the Jewish synagogue as well... or maybe... such could be attributed (at least partially) to the founding cause for the Israeli penchant to take the risk in asking the question: "Why?" - Hanok
