There are many reasons why the House of Joseph (Joes) should depart from the Christmas celebration. Below I’ve listed but a few of them.
1) Christmas is rooted in paganism. Watch Christmas unWrapped- The History of Christmas [1/5] from the History Channel. Christmas was outlawed in Puritan England, and later outlawed by the Puritans in the New World Colonies.
2) Yeshua (Jesus) was not born on December 25th. He was most likely born during the Feast of Tabernacles in or near our harvest months of September and October. See these articles for the evidence:
- When was Yeshua born?
- Biblical dates for Messiah’s Conception and Birth.
3) Christmas: Harmful to Children?
4) Children can be given gifts any day without embracing a pagan custom.
5) Christmas may be harmful to your wallet. The Holy-day has been largely overtaken by Capitalism. Jesus was never the reason for the season, and he remains ever more not so now. With the emerging credit card debt problem in the USA and in Europe, it would be a great time to consider stopping the Christmass madness.
