Michael Rood is correct that the public ministry of Yahushua was 490 literal days, a bit over one year. If you prefer to read and view detailed charts, instead of watching hours of videos, you can go here: http://4gospels.info This is not a copy of Rood's material, but presents the same concept:

By starting with the chronology in the Gospel of John, and noting Yahushua’s attendance at the Feasts, and correlating this to the other three Gospels, we discover that his public ministry was about one year long. Further investigation reveals that the entire length, including the 40 days fast in the wilderness and 50 days until Pentecost, is exactly 490 days, matching Daniel's prophecy.

Compared to Rood's presentation, this study differs in the precise chronology of the Passion Week, but this does not affect the 70 weeks itself.

Roughly ten hours of video by one of the most blessed teachers annointed by God. If you dispute the 70 week ministry of Yeshua, you havent seen the whole video, or investigated the evidence.
3 and 1 years is the 4000 years before The Christ, 2000 more brings us to the 1000 year Jubilee Shabbat!
What IS the acceptable year of Our Lord, or is it, the acceptable years.
To maintain the falacy of the three+ year ministry is using the same mindset as maintaining the falacy of christmas and easter.
If you watched the whole video series, checked it all out, and are still stuck on silly, its a very unfortunate thing, as the truth was right before you, and you missed it!
Here is another fine truth. We cannot change the past, but today we can repent! And from this day forward go and sin no more!
In Heaven is a book for each of us that we write with our own hand every day with every decision we make.
How does YOUR story end.......?

Your interpretation amounts to 4 years. How does that fit with the mainstream Christian view that Yeshua's ministry lasted 3.5 years?

pls look up this parable of the fig tree.
Luke 13:6-9 :
"He spake also this parable: A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three(3) years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down."
Jesus meant HE had given 3+1years for the fig tree to bear fruit...note that He cursed a fig tree after His final entry into Jerusalem. Matthew 21:18-21
