How many matches does it take to make the Powder-keg “go BOOM”!?
The Matches:
- The rabbinic authority, Vilna Gaon, prophesied that the building of the 3rd Temple would begin after the Hurva Synagogue was rebuilt for the third time. See If the Vilna Gaon was right, the 3rd Temple is on its way. Now the Great Hurva Synagogue to reopen after 62 years in the Old City (Jewish Quarter) on March 15th.
- The Temple Mount Institute starting their first annual International Temple Mount Awareness Day on March 16th (and they have been working feverishly to prepare for the dedication of the Altar). Catching wind of many of these developments, Muslim Riots Reach Temple Mount.
- Aviv Barley found in Israel, setting stage for new Biblical year to start around March 16th at the sighting of Rosh Chodesh (New Moon)... also starting the first year of the 7-year Shmittah cycle (which many think could be associated with Daniel's 70th Shavua prophecy). See the The Sabbath and Jubilee Cycle e-book for details.
- PM Bibi announced that the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem would both be added to the list of Israeli national heritage sites that the government plans to promote in so-called "occupied" territory. See West Bank sites added to national heritage list.
- Yesterday, dozens of Palestinian students from the youth division of Fatah, the party led by Mahmoud Abbas, gathered in El Bireh in the West Bank to dedicate a public square to the memory of Dalal Mughrabi, a woman who in 1978 helped carry out the deadliest terrorist attack in Israel's history where 38 Israelis were murdered, 13 of them children. See Palestinians Honor Terrorist After Biden Visit.
- Mahmoud Abbas recently pulled out of a possible return to Peace talks... specifically because of "planned" Jewish building in East Jerusalem (Old City).
- Clinton delivers blunt message to Netanyahu on East Jerusalem. Will Bibi do something (to keep Daughter Babylon happy) which will provoke the Ultra-orthodox to make provocations of their own?
- West Bank closure Extended - For the first time in several years, the entry of Palestinians into Israel is being fully prevented during a period that is not a Jewish holiday. Very interestingly, the closure is going to last until after March 16th. Coincidence?
How many more matches does the powder keg need to ignite?
Will Persia, Damascus, or Hezbollah bring their own matches to the keg-party?
