Daniel’s Timeline of the Last Days (using the Sabbath/Shmita Year Cycle)
On the main site, I've been piecing together a Timeline of the Last Days using several sources for important insight (see list below). The entire time-line is largely hinged upon past and future Sabbatical (Shmita/Shmittah) and Jubilee (Yovel/Yobel) Years and how they may and likely will closely correlate to Daniel's 70th Week/Shavua (Daniel 9:24-27), the Great Tribulation, and the Second Coming of Messiah (Yeshua/Yehoshua).

Very informative. I found your site by a google search trying to confirm my belief that 2009/2010 could be a sabbatical year. I see you concur with this.

Thank you for your comment, Phil. What led you to the 2009/2010 conclusion?

thanks for the article, but my calculation and most of the Jewish sources state that 2007-2008 is the Shmitta year, you can do google about it, and the Shmitta year should starts at Sukkot but not Aviv 1 (Deb 31:10)
thanks.

You and the “prevailing view” of the rabbis may be correct, but the prevailing view’s sources are not nearly as convincing as the actual historical record (in a contextual study of multiple dates within a thousand year period). For anyone who seriously wants to project the Shmita cycle into our time using those numerous reinforcing cycles from the past, I recommend he/she read The Sabbath and Jubilee Cycle by R. Clover. The years I have in red on the timeline are Shmita and Yobel years taken from that specific study.

Hi,
I stumbled into your website and I’m fascinated with your calculations. I’ve been doing my own calculations of the end times – Daniel’s 70th week based on the Jewish Festivals and here’s what I’ve come up with. I would love to hear your thoughts!
1. As you are aware, Jesus said that the generation that would see the rebirth of Israel, will not pass away before his second coming at the end of the tribulation (Matt 24:27-35) . Israel became a nation again on May 14, 1948.
2. Psalm 90:10 and Isaiah 23:17 state that one generation lasts 70 years x 360 days = 25,200 days
3. Alternatively, one can consider today’s generation of Jews. Today’s male life expectancy in Israel is 78 years x 365 days = 28,470 days as the outer limit for this generation and Jesus’ return.
4. Consequently, Jesus ‘ return could happen by Friday, May 12, 2017 (end of 70 biblical years), but no later than Saturday, April 25, 2026 (end of 78 current years) from Israel’s re-birth as a nation.
5. Daniel 9:27 states that the antichrist will stop animal sacrifice in the temple, claim he is the Messiah and place the abomination that causes desolation in the temple in the middle of tribulation (1260 days)
6. Daniel 8:14 states that the total period of animal sacrifices plus abomination that causes desolation in the temple would last 2300 days.
7. Daniel 12:11 states that the abomination is removed at 1260 days plus 1290 days = 2550 days from the start of the tribulation.
8. Therefore, sacrifices don’t start until 2550 days – 2300 days = 250 days after confirming the 7 year peace treaty, the start of the tribulation
9. Similarly, animal sacrifices will last 2300 days – 1290 days = 1010 days
10. 250 days matches the time between Passover and the Feast of Dedication Chanukah which celebrates the dedication of the second temple after it was rebuilt and cleansed by Judas Maccabbee after it was desecrated the last time by Antiochus Epiphane. He began animal sacrifices again at Chanukah – the Feast of Dedication, which is the most probable date for the resumption of sacrifices in the 3rd temple.
11. Assuming the Peace Treaty is confirmed with the antichrist on Passover 2010 (Friday, April 2, 2010) you add 250 days to allow for restoration, cleansing and dedication of the temple for animal sacrifice, you arrive at the Feast of Dedication – Chanuka (Wednesday, December 8, 2010).
12. If you add 1010 days of animal sacrifices, you arrive at the middle of the tribulation on the Day of Atonement – Yom Kippur (Friday, September 13, 2013) the day the antichrist stops animal sacrifice, claims he is the Messiah and places the abomination on the temple, exactly on the day the Jews herald the return of their Messiah!
13. If you add 1260 days, for Jesus to return at the end of the 70th week, you arrive at Friday, February 24, 2017. This date falls short of a Jewish festival, which makes sense since Jesus explains that He has to cut those days short for the sake of the elect, otherwise no one would survive (Matthew 24:22).
14. If you add 30 more days for the removal of the abomination that causes desolation from the temple, you arrive at Sunday, March 26, 2017
15. If you add 45 more days for the blessing at the end of the 1335 days per Daniel 12:12, you arrive exactly at 2nd Passover on Wednesday, May 10, 2017! This could be the date of dedication of the Millenium reign of Christ since it is 75 days after his return to earth which also matches the number of days between the day of atonement when the High Priest enters the Holy of Holies and Chanuka – the Feast of Dedication. Interestingly, May 10, 2017 is also 2 days before the end of the 70th generation since the rebirth of Israel!
I checked every year from 2010 till 2022, and the above periods only fall on those Jewish Holidays (Chanuka, Yom Kippur and 2nd Passover) again if you start the tribulation on Passover 2015!
If the treaty is signed on Passover 2015 (Tuesday, April 7, 2015) the blessing would occur on 2nd Passover (Sunday, May 15, 2022) which is 27,029 days/360=75.0 years after the rebirth of Israel.
So it is possible that the tribulation will start at either Passover 2010, or Passover 2015 for all the events outlined in Daniel’s prophecies for the tribulation to line-up with Jewish Festivals. I personally believe the tribulation will start in 2010 because the number 7 in 70 years generation represents completion and because it would line up with other secular prophecies that point to cataclysmic events in 2012. I also find it interesting that Passover occurs on a Friday in 2010 , the day of the crucifixion while it occurs on Tuesday in 2015!
This does not establish the day of the rapture, which could happen at any time between now and then.
Here’s some more clues that point to the tribulation starting at Passover:
The 2 witnesses of Revelation 11:
As you are aware, God sends Elijah and most likely Moses for 42 months (1260 days) to preach to the world during the tribulation. They are later killed by Satan and are resurrected 3.5 days later and taken up to heaven. Since these witnesses would be in the way of the anti-christ/satan’s unleashing their wrath on the Jews and satan/anti-christ do unleash their wrath on the Jews for the full 42 months of the second half of the tribulation, it only makes sense that they would arrive at the beginning of the tribulation and would be killed at the middle of the tribulation. This also points to a pre-tribulation rapture, since there wouldn’t be a need for these witnesses if the church were still on earth, so the rapture must occur prior to or very soon after the beginning of the tribulation.
The Jewish tradition of Elijah appearing at Passover:
Malachi 4:4-6 states that God will send Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that God will not come and smite the land with a curse.
For hundreds of years the Jews have been celebrating the Passover Seder with the belief that Elijah would return at that time to introduce them to the Messiah before God pours out His wrath on the nations, the 7 years of Jacob’s trouble. The Jewish families leave an empty chair and a cup of wine for Elijah at the Passover meal each year and send a child to open the door in case he shows up.
If this tradition is prophetic of Elijah arriving at Passover, it provides further evidence to the calculation above with the Tribulation starting at Passover.
It also makes sense that the blessing would occur in the end at the 2nd Passover after the end of the tribulation when He would be introduced as the true sacrificial Lamb of God to the world.
There you have it.
Shalom!

Thank you for the post, Lorenzo! I think you have some very good and important insights…
…and I know you can feel a “But” coming… (=
BUT… I think you put too much stock in the pre-trib rapture, largely because you don’t understand or make a distinction between the House of Judah (the Jews) and the House of Joseph (a multitude of peoples), both of which are of Jacob and both of which must go trough “Jacob’s Trouble”… that is why it is called Jacob’s Trouble. Much of the Christian population of the world is of the House of Joseph but they don’t know they are… and they are setup for a great fall… because they think it is “those Jews” who are going to receive the Wrath while “we Christians” are going to escape. This is probably why only a Remnant of Joseph or Judah will survive what is coming. Try to remove yourself from the emotionalism of the “rapture” paradigm for a time and begin to re-evaluate “who you are” and where and what you should look for. Your mention of “Elijah” is and will be a very important issue to keep your mind and eye’s on.
Also, remember the Creator of the Universe doesn’t put much regard into the World’s calendar system, which is largely labeled with pagan-derivatives that offend Him (I must defer that topic to books like “Too Long in Sun” and “Fossilized Customs”). For example, Yeshua was put to death on the 4th day of the week (which was the High Sabbath of Passover), which just happened to be a Wednesday (a name pagans identified with). He wasn’t put in the tomb on the 6th Day of the week (Friday). How do you get three days and nights between Friday night and Sunday morning? You can’t.
Embracing the Hebraic paradigm and your Hebraic-roots will further increase your understanding of what is coming. You already understand much more than most Christians I’ve come into contact with. I too have much to learn and understand, and I think you, like me… enjoy the pursuit of the Treasure of Heaven more than the treasures of the world. (=

Shalom,
great to see your website and timeliene. Thank you.
We like to ask the following:
1) The 62 weeks fit up to the time of Yeshua’s crucification. The 7 weeks are different, why? Otherwise the Bible text of Dankiel’s prophecy would have had 69 weeks instaed of 62+7.
Nehemiah is not the builder of this prophecy we think. He finished the wall in 58 days.
See Jeremiah, Isaiah who voiced the rebuilding of the city after the Babylonian Captivity earlier on and this was known to Daniel. Even The angel reminded YHWH about the end of the 70 years in Zachariah (6:15).
We cannot trust the historical accounts, there may be a flaw in the counting, as some historians put Xerxes to be the same person as Artaxerxes. Some archeological evidence is at hand. That would completely verify the Biblical account, yet, this is like a can of worms to deal with.
2) The 7 weeks of Daniel we place beginning on June 7, 1967, ending on Yom Kippur 2015. There cannot have been building in the sense of the prophecy on MT. Moriah / Zion from 1947 until June 1967.
3) How do you fit the 7 trumpets and 7 thunders into your timeline? Is there enough time to accommodate them?
Let’s work together to find out how we can adjust. That would be great.
Thank you.

Shalom Holger,
For your question in point 1, I’ll defer to Michael Rood’s teaching on the Jonah Code, where he goes into great detail regarding Yeshua’s 70 week ministry and the three layers of Daniel’s prophecy.
I do fit the Seven Trumpets in the timeline (here), but I haven’t mentioned the 7 Thunders because Revelation 10:1-7 indicates they will be hidden to us until just before the 7th Trumpet is sounded. I guess people can speculate what those 7 Thunders will be, but Revelation doesn’t specify. The 7 Bowl judgments seem to happen during the Great Distress/Tribulation leading up to the Terrible “Day” of YHVH. Their “exact” timing within the Tribulation period seems to be immaterial to me and will probably be immaterial to those suffering them.
Thank you for your comments!

I was most pleased to find your website with its many insightful articles in particular your timeline of Daniel. I feel that the Solar eclipse of the 22nd July 2009 followed by the Lunar eclipse of 6 August 2009 may very well be the celestial phenomena of Revelation 6:12 Sun black as sackcloth of hair and the Moon became like blood. Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth may be the Delta Aquarid meteor shower of the 28/29th July 2009 if this is the case then your timeline is very close and definetly worthy of more study which I intend to do anyway as the Timeline of Daniel and Revelation which I have developed is framed around the period 26/3/2009 to 14/5/2018 when Israel celebrates is 70th anniversary as an independent and soveriegn state

I have come across an ancient apocryphal document which is a prophecy by Joseph of Egypt wherein he prophecies that during the last 7 years before the wrath of God falls upon the wicked, the wealthy will become much more wealthy than they were previously.
Years ago when this ancient document surfaced, that prophecy didn’t really make any sense to me.
In recent years however, it makes a lot of sense.
According to wiki, 2007 marks the year that the global financial crisis began that we are currently in.
I have found other documentation to indicate that since 2007 the wealthy global elite have increased their wealth astronomically… in 2007 many of them doubled their wealth.
In essence, wealth is not being lost, it is being transferred… or rather stolen.
Isaiah and other prophets speak of the robbing of the nation in the end times.
Anyway, assuming the document is an authentic one, that prophecy may be the key to unlocking exactly where we stand in time prophetically.
If the last seven year period prior to the beginning of the wrath of God upon the wicked did begin in 2007, the mid point dividing the two 3 1/2 year periods could mark the start of an incredible prophetic event that would most likely start this October.
If that is the case, the forerunners that precede the return of Christ to gather the elect of God, must return prior to that… most likely during the feast of trumpets.
We could be days away from major events happening..

PS the beginning of the seven year period in 2007 is also congruent with the 400 year prophecy in Genesis 15
