December 2008 Update: Dig was delayed until April. See official updates here.

April 2009 Update: Dig has formally begun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Officially, Jim Barfield is not a "treasure hunter", but there is no doubt it is something eternally valuable he and his team are hunting for...

  1. Shalom,

Thanks for the kind words and support.

    Jim Barfield

  2. My pleasure! Alot of people are excited about your effort, but I think many are worried about the darker forces at play. After reading Joel C. Roseberg’s book on the subject, my imagination runs a bit wild with fear for you, yet I know יהוה will guard your team if it is He who is ultimately behind the effort and the timing of the revealing.

May יהוה bless you and keep you!

  3. The third temple will be a counterfiet. It will be the temple of anti-christ. The second temple was razed and the “True Temple” was raised nearly 2000 years ago. The effort to rebuild a third temple is a mockery to the truth.

The third temple is just as much desired by the occult purveyors of global government as by the faithful of Israel. Both groups are anticipating a false messiah as are Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims.

I follow these developments not because the artifacts are important, but because they are a sign of the times.

  4. The artifacts are not important in your mind?

If the Temple, the Altar, and/or sacrificial system (that will be reinstated eventually) is a bad thing, a negative thing, or a counterfeit thing, then why does the anti-messiah (who is altogether “bad”) want to stop it and setup an abomination to disgrace it? It will be interesting when both the anti-messiah and many Christians side together with a desire to stop the sacrifices. For anyone else reading this, I suggest you either keep a neutral stance or keep your mouth zipped in regards to the Temple and the Most Holy Place. I assure you, there is nothing positive in it for you to voice an opinion AGAINST the Temple. There is only harm. Be careful what side you align yourselves. Yeshua (Jesus) revered the Temple as His Father’s House… and so should you. Only offering suggestions with your best interest in mind. (=

  5. That temple that Jesus revered is gone. He replaced it with Himself. When the reality comes, there is no more need for a symbol.

Mr 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

Joh 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Re 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

Isa 1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

Isa 66:1 ¶ Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

  6. People often quote Isaiah 1 in order to cast a negative shadow on the Temple and the Sacrificial System, but obviously יהוה is the One Who gave the Temple and the Altar to Israel, so how does He despise something He Himself gave? Actually, what He despised was the Idolatry and shedding of innocent blood and the mixing of the profane with the sacred (things often done in connection with the Temple by reprobate cohanim/priests during the time of the Prophet Isaiah).

How do you reconcile your paradigm and Rev 21:22 with the following passage in Ezekiel (and several others listed further below)? Personally, I don’t think Rev 21 contradicts Ezekiel 43. John declared what he didn’t see… but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. It simply means he didn’t see it. Possibly because of the brightness of the esteem of יהוה, but that is just a guess. Honestly, I don’t know. That whole no-Temple view creates a conundrum because passages like Zechariah 6:12 indicate the Messiah Himself will be the one who builds the Millennial Temple. And many End Time-related passages indicate יהוה is the One filling the Temple with the smoke of His esteem/glory, but why would He fill something He doesn’t approve of or bless?

    Ezekiel 43:1-27
    (1) And he led me to the gate, the gate facing east.
    (2) And see, the esteem of the Elohim of Yisra’el came from the way of the east. And His voice was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone from His esteem.
    (3) And it was like the appearance of the vision which I saw, like the vision which I saw when He came to destroy the city. And the visions were like the vision which I saw by the River Keb’ar, and I fell on my face.
    (4) And the esteem of יהוה
came into the House by way of the gate facing east.
    (5) And the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner courtyard. And see, the esteem of יהוה filled the House.
    (6) And I heard someone speaking to me from the House, while a man stood beside me.
    (7) And He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, when I dwell in the midst of the children of Yisra’el forever, and the house of Yisra’?l shall no longer defile My set-apart Name, they nor their sovereigns, by their whoring and by the corpses of their sovereigns on their high places.
    (8) “When they placed their threshold by My threshold, and their doorpost by My doorpost, with a wall between them and Me, they defiled My set-apart Name by the abominations which they have done. So I consumed them in My displeasure.
    (9) “Now let them put their whoring and the corpses of their sovereigns far away from Me, and I shall dwell in their midst forever.
    (10) “Son of man, explain the House to the house of Yisra’el, and when they are ashamed of their crookednesses, they shall measure the measurements.
    (11) “And since they shall be ashamed of all that they did, make known to them the design of the House and its structure, and its exits and its entrances, its entire design and all its laws, and all its forms and all its Torot. And write it down before their eyes, so that they observe its entire design and all its laws, and shall do them.
    (12) “This is the Torah of the House: Upon the mountaintop, all the boundary of it, all around, is most set-apart. See, this is the Torah of the House.
    (13) “And these are the measurements of the altar in cubits, that cubit being one cubit and a handbreadth, and the base one cubit high and one cubit wide, with a rim all around its edge of one span. And this is the upper part of the altar.
    (14) “And from the base on the ground to the lower ledge, two cubits, and the width of the ledge one cubit, and from the smaller ledge to the larger ledge four cubits, and the width of the ledge one cubit.
    (15) “And the altar hearth is four cubits high, and four horns extending upward from the hearth.
    (16) “And the altar hearth is twelve cubits long, and twelve wide, square at its four corners.
    (17) “And the ledge is fourteen long and fourteen wide on its four sides, with a rim of half a cubit around it, and its base one cubit all around, and its steps face east.”
    (18) And He said to me, “Son of man, thus said the Master יהוה, ‘These are the laws for the altar on the day when it is made, for offering burnt offerings on it, and for sprinkling blood on it.
    (19) ‘And you shall give a young bull for a sin offering to the priests, the L?wites, who are of the seed of Tsad?oq, who approach unto Me,’ declares the Master יהוה.
    (20) ‘And you shall take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar, on the four corners of the ledge, and on the rim around it, and shall cleanse it and make atonement for it.
    (21) ‘And you shall take the bull of the sin offering, and shall burn it in the appointed place of the House, outside the set-apart place.
    (22) ‘And on the second day you bring a male goat, a perfect one, for a sin offering. And they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull.
    (23) ‘When you have ended cleansing it, bring a young bull, a perfect one, and a ram from the flock, a perfect one.
    (24) ‘And you shall bring them before יהוה, and the priests shall throw salt on them and offer them up as a burnt offering to יהוה.
    (25) ‘Prepare a goat for a sin offering daily for seven days, and prepare a young bull and a ram from the flock, perfect ones.
    (26) ‘For seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and cleanse it, and ordain it.
    (27) ‘And when these days are completed it shall be, on the eighth day and thereafter, that the priests make your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar, and I shall accept you,’ declares the Master יהוה.”

(Psa 11:4) The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

(Psa 27:4) One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

(Eze 41:1) Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.

(Eze 41:4) So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.

    (Eze 41:15) And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;

(Eze 41:20) From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.
(Eze 41:21) The posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the other.

(Eze 41:23) And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.

(Eze 41:25) And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubims and palm trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of the porch without.

(Eze 42:8) For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.

(Zec 6:12) And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:

(Zec 6:13) Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

(Zec 8:9) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

(Mal 3:1) Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

    (Act 22:17) And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance;

(2Th 2:4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

(Rev 3:12) Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

(Rev 7:15) Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

(Rev 11:1) And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

(Rev 11:19) And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

(Rev 14:15) And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

(Rev 14:17) And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

(Rev 15:5) And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

(Rev 15:6) And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

(Rev 15:8) And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

(Rev 16:1) And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

(Rev 16:17) And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

  7. You said it yourself, “Messiah Himself will be the one who builds the Millennial Temple.” Which means the one they are intending to build now is counterfeit. Until Jesus returns there will never be another legitimate temple on earth.

Heb 7:11 ¶ If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
    26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

    Heb 8:1 ¶ Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
6 ¶ But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

  8. Look, the Temple which Yeshua respected was one that had been massively refurbished by Herod. Yeshua obviously didn’t think it was a counterfeit. We don’t even know if Judah (the Jews) will be able to rebuild another Temple before Messiah returns, but they will certainly reestablish the Altar and Sacrificial System (possibly with the Tabernacle)… because we know the anti-messiah stops the sacrifices. And again, I have this terrible feeling many “Christians” are going to be supporting him when he does this… but by then, a great number of “believers” will have compromised by the persuasion of his tongue… and probably in a similar manner as the Obama manifestation. But that is somewhat besides the point. If I were you, I would just be extra careful of accusations. If the Ruach/Spirit of YHVH is behind what Judah restarts, be sure you attribute “evil” in the right place. Make judgments based upon FRUIT.

  9. The fruit is whether or not they accept Jesus as Messiah. If they accept Jesus they will understand that they do not need the temple, and if they do not accept Jesus the temple will do them no good.

Mt 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

    Ro 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20 Well; BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God SPARED NOT THE NATURAL BRANCHES, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, IF THEY ABIDE NOT STILL IN UNBELIEF, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

Ro 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Ro 9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

Ro 9:31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
    32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Jesus is the “stumblingstone and rock of offence.” The only way to be grafted into the tree is to accept Jesus, no matter if you are Jew or Gentile.

  10. How do you know some of “they” haven’t already accepted Messiah? How do you know if it is “they” (believers) who restore and/or support the restoration of the Altar? And why do you think the Altar and offerings were ONLY geared for the remittance of sins? And why does Messiah rebuild a Temple that He has replaced and doesn’t need? You don’t know. You paint with an arrogant, religious, broad anti-Torah (lawless) brush because you have grown up in an immensely anti-Torah, anti-Jewish religious system and culture where people are more focused on their personal religion “ABOUT” Jesus instead of focusing on the LIFE that the JEWISH Messiah actually lived and supported.

    2 Peter 3:14-16
    (14) So then, beloved ones, looking forward to this, do your utmost to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless,
    (15) and reckon the patience of our Master as deliverance, as also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him,
    (16) as also in all his letters, speaking in them concerning these matters, in which some are hard to understand, which those who are untaught and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also the other Scriptures.

  11. I know some of “they” have accepted Jesus. That is where the remnant come from.

Just because we disagree about some things doesn’t mean we have to resort to personal attack.

It is water off a duck’s back to me, but it rude to tell people to zip their mouth and to call them arrogant. That is no way to have a discussion.

  12. Jesus is personal to me. He is my Lord and savior. He is my high preist and He is the reason I can go directly to God in prayer. It is the same for you or anyone who accepts Jesus as savior.

I know I already posted this, but here it is again

    Heb.7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Heb 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Faith in His Son is all that is required to reconcile to God. There are no hoops that you can jump through that will make you any more acceptable to Him.

  13. First of all, the “Fruit” is not the ACT of receiving Yeshua as Redeemer. Yeshua is the GoodSeed (the choicest fruit) and we receive, eat, or have Him implanted inside us as individuals (good soil) where we become new internally. The FRUIT that an individual then creates (which distinguishes him/her as a good tree and good soil) is the outward manifestation of having received or ate of the GoodSeed. It usually takes time for seed to produce fruit, and that is why it is difficult to tell the difference between the Wheat and the Tares until after they have put out fruit. Matthew 3:8; Romans 14:17; 2 Corinthians 9:10; Ephesians 5:9; Colossians 1:10; Hebrews 12:11 all indicate that the Fruit are works of Righteousness, which are references which are consistent with where the Tanakh indicates the same: Psalm 72:3; Isaiah 32:17; Hosea 10:12; Amos 6:12.

It isn’t just that “they” (some Jews) have “ACCEPTED” Yeshua. There are many in Judah who actually follow Him in the WAY that He lived His life, not with just brain and lip recognition of His status as Saviour/Redeemer. If you look at the Israelite experience of being “saved” from Egypt (e.g. Passover and the crossing of the Red Sea) and THEN being given the instruction manual on how to live (TORAH), you’ll see a similar parallel with the way we accept Yeshua as the Passover Lamb, and then we strive to LIVE a life of love and obedience to His instruction. We don’t live that life in order to be “saved” as an individual (although living a Torah-filled life does save individuals from many dangers). Salvation simply isn’t the focus or reason for obedience. Love without obedience isn’t love. For example, most children are allowed to live in their father’s house even when they mess up, and they generally try to live by the rules of that house in order to please and honor their parents.

Titus 1:16 – They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

The issue of the Temple and Altar goes far beyond the road to salvation and the ability to approach the Most High. And your “arrogant” dismissal of the Altar only illustrates your lack of understanding in that specific regard. I believe you quoted from Romans 11 earlier. You’ll notice Paul also corrected the Goyim (Gentiles) for being arrogant in that passage. I’m sure some of them thought Paul was making a personal attack, but attacking for attacking’s sake wasn’t his aim, nor is it mine. Originally, my response to you in regards to the Temple was an encouragement not to speak negatively against something that the Most High Himself may be bringing about for purposes many Christians do not YET understand. People can say whatever they wish, but we will be judged by what comes out of our lips and finger tips.

  14. I agree, the fruit is not the act of receiving Christ. Although that is the moment it begins. It is knowing and being a follower of Him and receiving of His Spirit.

Here is the definition of the good seed. It is simply who they are.

    Mt 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Here is the fruit of the good seed.

Jas 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

What you are calling arrogant I call confident, that the temple that will be built will be there to fulfill prophecy concerning the man of sin and will be destroyed once it’s purpose has been realized.

You keep putting quotes around they. The purpose of pronouns is to avoid the redundancy of using a noun repeatedly when it is understood. It is not a bad thing.

  15. Yeah, Joseph was self-confident too… and his brothers threw him in a hole. Ephraimites receive this character trait honest.

If you read more of the context of James 1 and the entire book of James, it certainly does not disagree with how I showed Scripture defines “FRUIT” previously (i.e., Acts of Righteousness). Martin Luther actually wanted to remove James from the canon of the Christian Scriptures because it disagreed with his philosophy of Lawlessness.

    James 1:16-27
    (16) Do not go astray, my beloved brothers.
    (17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning. (compare Mal. 3:6)
    (18) Having purposed it, He brought us forth by the Word of truth, for us to be a kind of first-fruits of His creatures.
    (19) So then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath,
    (20) for the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of Elohim.
    (21) Therefore put away all filthiness and overflow of evil, and receive with meekness the implanted Word (compare Mt. 13:4-23) which is able to save your lives.
    (22) And become doers of the Word, and not hearers only (compare Matt. 7:24-27, Luke. 6:46-49, 8:21, Rom. 2:13, Heb. 4:11, Rev. 22:14), deceiving yourselves.
    (23) Because if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror,
    (24) for he looks at himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what he was like.
    (25) But he that looked into the perfect Torah, that of freedom (compare James 2:12), and continues in it, not becoming a hearer that forgets, but a doer of work, this one shall be blessed in his doing of the Torah.
    (26) If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is worthless.
    (27) Clean and undefiled religion before the Elohim and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

Hey, and thanks for the grammar lesson.

  16. It is nice to see you have a sense of humor.

Anyway, back to the temple. The reason there will be a third temple is the same reason there is again a nation called Israel,…the occult. The people behind Israel and the temple are kabbalists, illuminists, freemasons, rosicrucians, theosophists, etc., etc., which are just various denominations of the mystery religion. By that, I mean the people in power, not the ordinary citizens.

They salivate over building the temple because they believe it will pave the way for their savior, the anti-christ. “If they build it he will come.”

The following excerpts are from the website “Judaism 101.”

“The moshiach will be a great political leader descended from King David (Jeremiah 23:5). The moshiach is often referred to as “moshiach ben David” (moshiach, son of David). He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments (Isaiah 11:2-5). He will be a charismatic leader, inspiring others to follow his example. He will be a great military leader, who will win battles for Israel. He will be a great judge, who makes righteous decisions (Jeremiah 33:15). But above all, he will be a human being, not a god, demi-god or other supernatural being.”

” Jews do not believe that Jesus was the moshiach. Assuming that he existed, and assuming that the Christian scriptures are accurate in describing him (both matters that are debatable), he simply did not fulfill the mission of the moshiach as it is described in the biblical passages cited above. Jesus did not do any of the things that the scriptures said the messiah would do.”

“Traditional Jews believe that The Temple will be rebuilt when the Moshiach (Messiah) comes. They eagerly await that day and pray for it continually.”

“Modern Jews, on the other hand, reject the idea of rebuilding the Temple and resuming sacrifices. They call their houses of prayer “temples,” believing that such houses of worship are the only temples we need, the only temples we will ever have, and are equivalent to the Temple in Jerusalem. This idea is very offensive to some traditional Jews, which is why you should be very careful when using the word Temple to describe a Jewish place of worship.”

The following are a better explanation of why the temple will be built, because the people in power are occultists.

  17. The definition of Judaism is widely contested. For instance, a Karaite’s view is much different than that of an Ultra-Orthodox. The desire for the Temple stems from multiple different reasons as well. And it seems everyone’s description of these things are done with a very broad brush.

When EliYahu comes onto the scene (the one Yeshua said would restore ALL THINGS / Matthew 17:10-14), I think we should be profoundly interested in what he restores and condones, including the next Temple. Until then, I’ll continue to echo the warning for Christians (i.e., Joes) not to find themselves on the same side as the Beast and his followers.

BTW, the Copper Scroll dig started a few days ago.

  18. Yes, the definition of Judaism is almost as widely contested as Christianity, but the definition of anti-christ is plain.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
    I John 2:18

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
    - I John 2:22

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
    - I John 4:3

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist
    - II John 1:7

He is the stumbling stone and rock of offence.

  19. Religion is a poor imitation of, and a poor substitute for a genuine relationship with God. The father of lies says that all religions are different paths leading to god. What he usually does not tell us is that he is that god. There is but one road that leads to the true God. But if we are always engaged in a babel of religious confusion we will never find Him.

The author of confusion has been busy laying down a barrage of religious flak since time began. His purpose is to confuse the enemy. We are the enemy. In our quest to find God, we must feel our way through a smoke screen of religious distraction designed by the enemy to prevent us from discovering God. If he can keep us bewildered, stumbling through religions that only lead to him, he can defeat us.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
    - John 4:23-24

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    - John 14:6

There is no religion but the truth of Jesus Christ. Whether we call it Judism, Buddhism, Hinduism, atheism, or pessimism; they are nothing more than figments of superstitious imaginations.

True religion requires no rites, rituals, ceremonies, or talismans. The ingredients of faith are a personal relationship with the Father through the Son, guided by Their Holy Spirit; no water added. The beauty of it is the simplicity of it, and simplicity is hard to accept. It sure takes the burden off though.

  20. Jim, I met you in the little town of Mangum, Ok. and have been wanting to know what was going on with the project. We are behind you 100% and truly believe you are being led in the right direction by the Holy Spirit. We, here in Oklahoma are for you and Yahweh guiding you all the way. Steve Warren and I did get to go to Israel on Feb. 16th -23rd , and it was really awesome! We took rain with us….it rained the last 4 days we were there. Wouldn’t have changed it for anything in the world. We went with Lesea Ministries from Indiana, with Peter Sumerall and crew! It was great, getting Baptized in the Jordan River and going to Bethlehem, and Megiddo, and Masada….. it was beautiful looking across Jerusalem and seeing the WALL and the Crowne Plaza Hotel was awesome. We took 3,000 photos over there. Something I wanted to do before I died. We are behind you, Jim. Yahweh Bless you all and guide You . Ruth Groves & Steve Warren

  21. Goodseed, certain things like the rebuilt Temple have to happen so that would put us closer to Christ Jesus return. Also, simple isn’t easy.
