Comparing Romans 11:25 with Genesis 48:19 “the Fullness of the Nations/Peoples/Gentiles”
Genesis 48:19 "But his father refused and said, I know, my son, I know. He also becomes a people, and he also is great. And yet, his younger brother is greater than he, and his seed is to become the fulness of the nations [H1471 Goyim]."
Romans 11:25 "For I do not want you, brethren, to be ignorant of this mystery--so that you will not be wise in your own estimation--that a partial blindness [hardening] has happened to Israel until the fullness of the gentiles [G1484 Ethnos] has come in;"
Goyim (H1471) is sometimes translated into English as "Peoples", "Nations", or "Gentiles".
Hellene (G1672), and more frequently, Ethnos (G1484) are translated into English as "Gentiles". And most fascinatingly, the Septuagint (LXX) uses the Greek word "Ethnos" in Genesis 48:19 in the place of the Hebrew: "Goyim".
Also compare: Romans 11:12; John 10:16; Luke 21:24.
