Second Counting, Week 101 – Awakening in the Word with Glenn McWilliams

Today I finished listening to an excellent teaching by Glenn McWilliams, "Week 101 - Second Counting" Torah commentary. He spoke in detail about the mysterious pattern of "replacements" which occur repetitively in the Tanakh (for example: Isaak replaced Ishmael, Jacob replaced Esau, Joseph replaced Reuben, Ephraim replaced Manasseh, the Second Adam replaced the First Adam, the New Covenant will replace the Old). He also goes into great detail dispelling the Christian replacement view of "the Church" replacing "Israel".

Watch the video teaching here: "Awakening in the Word - Week 101 - Second Counting"

Glenn's views are very similar (I think) to Brad Scott's view on the "Two Seeds". Many of his teachings, by the way, can be downloaded from here:  WayToZion.org.

Since I research and write a great deal on the genetics of the "biological" seed of Israel, it must be understood that I do not believe all of biological Israel will inherit the Kingdom of יהוה simply because they are of the biological seed. A remnant of both 10-Israel and Judah will escape the punishments of יהוה in the future and will still remain as natural branches on the Tree of יהוה, but there will be many non-Israelite branches that are grafted into that Tree. I simply believe many of these branches who think of themselves right now as non-Israelite (gentile) will eventually find out they are of 10-Israel and are natural branches being grafted back into the Tree their ancestors were originally cut-off from.

Okay, I'm sure I was clear as mud there. Listen to Glenn. He presents a much better and wider understanding of this.

Shabbat shalom,
Hanok

  1. Glenn why do you start the New Moon in Jerusalem when it has been seen in New England 17 hrs earlier? Would it not be a two day old moon if we wait until the next sunset in the US? Shalom

  2. Michael,
I’m not sure how Glenn would or will answer your question, but I’d like to ask you a couple questions. Was the Great Name of יהוה ever placed in New England? Is there any commandment in the Torah that permits you to gather to one of the three pilgrimage festivals in New England?

Tsiyon is the center… Tsiyon is the focus…. Tsiyon is where Yeshua left… Tsiyon is where He is coming back… Tsiyon is where we are going when Daughter Babylon is destroyed (Jeremiah 50:4). It is all about Tsiyon.

My personal perspective is laid out in greater detail here: Can we keep the Festivals without the Altar and the Place of the Name?

  3. Where is your 13 pages of accusations against Michael Rood?

  4. I’m not sure if those 13 pages are yet publicly available online. By the way, this website is not run by Glenn or Michael… I’ve simply posted both of their teaching materials on this site in various places because I’ve considered them high quality and informative in Torah.

Not entirely certain what to think about the recent stir. I’ve only heard Michael’s side of the story so far… and he seems to have alot of support from the people around him who know him best… which in of itself is fairly compelling… in my view.
