A couple of the variables in the Parable of the 10 Virgins (Matthew 25) have often perplexed me. Maybe I'm complicating things too much, but I still ponder what the "oil" represents specifically... although Eddie has certainly elaborated on the subject better than any other I've heard up to this point.

Finally, I’ve found someone who has uncovered what the “oil” is in this important parable. Brother Bill’s article: Oil for the Light breaks it all down in a very compelling way. His view regarding what the “Light” is also agrees with Eddie’s view. In short, the Light is the commandments, the Torah. The Oil is Wisdom which causes one to walk in the Light.

WoW, all I can say is VERY INTERESTING! Thank you Jews and Joes for having such informative revelations on your site! It is a real blessing to know that these hours before the storm, there is a tool that the Lord is using to reach out to every individual whom has an ear.
