I've long been interested in hearing Brad Scott's take on the Two-House Teaching. I've assumed he understood the reality of Israel and Judah partially because of his affiliations, but this interview makes it more evident of his view on the subject.
I almost entirely agree with his description of Israel and Judah minus some of the diminishing of their literal "physical" aspects. I do agree that the Most High does not like the fact that there are two houses instead of one (which is why they'll eventually be united). And I agree the remnant of All Israel who has received the Seed or the Word of Messiah Yeshua is ultimately "who Israel is" (no matter the matter of physicality). Yet, I would suggest that a VERY large portion of that remnant which represents both Israel and Judah are indeed physical, direct Y-Chromosome descendants of Jacob (fulfilling a great number of important prophecies).
The assembly of Israel was, is, and will be mixed (of course) and Brad alludes to that reality with several statements in the interview. We all have many thousands of ancestors from various backgrounds... so any self-identity notion of genetic "purity" is remiss, but a look at population groupings by various haplogroups around the world frequently indicate we eventually are all traced back to a very small group of male founders. The great mystery is WHO those founders were.
And it is my view that ABRAHAM and EPHRAIM would be standing VERY tall amongst that grouping of men.
In conclusion, I always enjoy listening to Brad. He is a fantastic teacher of the Word and the mysteries of the Word. My disagreement here is very slight and probably all semantic.
